Quality management

Built where quality is a system, not a promise.

Arc Grove furniture is produced in ISO 9001-certified facilities: factories audited to the international quality-management standard, so the piece you receive matches the piece you approved.

ISO 9001 quality management mark

What ISO 9001 is

ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management systems, published by the International Organization for Standardization. A facility earns certification by documenting how it plans, produces, inspects, and corrects its work, and by passing audits from an independent certification body, with surveillance audits to keep it.

In plain terms

Certification means a factory has shown an outside auditor that its quality controls are written down, followed, and checked, so results don’t depend on which crew is on shift. The certificate covers how the facility works. It doesn’t certify each individual product.

What it means for your order

Arc Grove® furniture is produced in ISO 9001-certified facilities, which affects your order in four ways.

Consistent runs

Because the process is documented, piece 200 matches the sample you approved in dimensions, finish, and construction, whether you order two desks or a full floor.

Traceable production

The factory records materials, steps, and inspections, so we can trace any piece back to how and when it was made.

Fewer defects reach you

The factory inspects at set checkpoints during production, so problems get caught before packing instead of after delivery.

Audited improvement

Certified facilities are re-audited on a schedule and have to show what they corrected, so the process behind your furniture keeps improving.

How Arc Grove uses it

The factory holds the certification. Arc Grove owns the specification, the sample, the inspection, and the warranty, and each one sits at a set point in your order.

Step 1

Specify and sample

You approve dimensions, finishes, and construction. On request, a finish sample or a CAD drawing locks the spec before anything is cut.

Step 2

Certified production

Your order is built in an ISO 9001-certified facility, to documented processes, with inspection at defined checkpoints.

Step 3

Inspection and packing

Finished pieces are checked against your spec, then packed in reinforced knock-down packaging for freight.

Step 4

Backed for life

Eligible pieces carry the Office for Life™ Warranty. If a defect does get through, the warranty covers it.

The fine print

ISO 9001 certifies a facility’s quality management system: its documented processes, controls, and improvement cycle, as audited by an independent certification body. It doesn’t certify individual products, materials, or finishes, and it isn’t a safety, environmental, or performance rating. Product-level assurance on your order comes from the approved specification, inspection, and the Office for Life™ Warranty.

Quality questions

What does ISO 9001 certified mean for office furniture?

ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management systems. For office furniture, it means the factory has documented how it plans, builds, inspects, and corrects its work, and an independent certification body has audited that system. The certificate covers the process. It doesn’t rate each individual desk or chair.

Is Arc Grove ISO 9001 certified?

Arc Grove furniture is produced in ISO 9001-certified facilities. The certification is held by our manufacturing partners and covers their quality management systems. Arc Grove specifies, samples, and inspects each order against your approved specification, and backs eligible pieces with the Office for Life™ Warranty.

How does ISO 9001 reduce defects in furniture?

It requires inspection at set checkpoints during production, not only at the end, and it requires the factory to document and correct the cause when something fails. Problems get caught before packing, and the fix goes into the process so the same problem doesn’t come back on the next run.

Does ISO 9001 guarantee the quality of my furniture?

No standard can guarantee a specific piece. ISO 9001 makes consistent quality far more likely by certifying the system that produces it. Your product-level assurance comes from the specification you approve, inspection against it, and the Office for Life™ Warranty if a defect ever gets through.

Is Arc Grove furniture commercial grade?

Yes. Arc Grove furniture is specified for daily commercial use and produced in ISO 9001-certified facilities, with commercial-grade materials and construction. Executive desks, conference tables, workstations, and storage are built for daily office use.
